About Barbara Reid

Barbara Reid decided in 2003 to change direction in life and walked through the doors of the newly established RE/MAX First Bloemfontein. That was 18 years ago. She had been involved in Bloemfontein's vibrant and energetic musical world for most of her life. Now a big switch to selling Real Estate, a new beginning. Having lived in Bloemfontein all her life certainly had its advantages. These were the years before Prop 24 and Google Maps. It's not simply putting someone into a house, Area, proximity to schooling, distance to work. Bloemfontein was then known to be 10 mins from or to anywhere!! Hearing a client say, “This is MY house” meant one had struck the Jackpot. That is what happens when one successfully matches the exact buyer to the exact property. This can be challenging, but, most rewarding. So is the unexpected call from an old client, what a pleasure! Look forward to hearing from Old and New potential Buyers. After 18 years, even though a lot has changed, it is still a thrill to meet new people looking to set down their roots in Bloemfontein.
